São Paulo-based hardcore/death metal band Endrah is entering a new, more aggressive and technical phase with the departure of American vocalist Ryan ‘Relentless’, establishing themselves as a fully Brazilian trio. The current line-up, consisting of César ‘Covero’ (guitar/vocals), Adriano ‘Kardec’ Vilela (bass/vocals) and Bruno Santin (drums), promises an even more brutal, violent and visceral sound for their new album, already titled “Bloodshed and Violence”.

The music video for “Madness”, the first glimpse of this new era, has been released exclusively on the Hardcore Worldwide YouTube channel, one of the largest channels for heavy and aggressive music in the world. Check it out at: https://youtu.be/sBWviq1P3_E

Regarding the transition and the new lineup, Adriano ‘Kardec’ Vilela commented:

Our last tour was in 2019, then the pandemic came and complicated everything regarding our former singer, Ryan ‘Relentless’. In the following 3 years, it became very difficult to even write new music because he didn’t have the ‘vibe’ we really wanted. We even tried a couple of other Brazilian singers, but that didn’t work too, probably because of the complexity of our songs. So we decided to try as a trio, with me and Covero sharing vocals, and it sounded very genuine and cohesive. We made more progress in 3 weeks than we did in 3 years!”

“Bloodshed and Violence”, which will be released in the second half of this year, was co-produced, mixed, and mastered by the band and Franco Torrezan (@francotorrezan) at Casarão Music Studio (@casaraomusicstudio) in the city of Piracicaba, São Paulo/Brazil, and will feature 10 extremely brutal and technical tracks.

César ‘Covero’ shared his excitement about these new songs:

“We have a total of 15 tracks, but we’re going to save 5 of them for a future EP. So, for the new album, we’ll have 10 songs of hate because the material is really brutal [laughing].”

The band is also preparing to go on tour to promote the new album, which is scheduled to debut in September or October.

Describing the sound of the new album, César ‘Covero’ said:

“In addition to brutality and more technical passages, we incorporate plenty of speed, varied tempo sections, and a strong groove element that blurs the lines between hardcore and death metal. In terms of vocals, we aim for a wide range of tones and an unprecedented level of aggressiveness within the band.”

Speaking about the lyrics of “Madness”, Adriano ‘Kardec’ Vilela said:

The lyrics describe an intense experience of madness and despair. It portrays a person caught in a spiral of pain and violence, where reality dissolves and blood flows freely. Themes of hallucinations, constant suffering, desire for destruction, and lack of mercy are addressed in the verses. The person is consumed by the desire to be brutal and finds a kind of pleasure in the unfolding pain and chaos. It’s a dark vision of someone in a state of intense mental and emotional agony, with no hope of escape from this relentless torment.”

“Madness” will be available for streaming on major platforms within days!

Celebrating two decades of presence in the music scene, the now trio promises an intense and unforgettable experience for fans of the purest and most violent metal. All tour updates and dates will be announced shortly. Get ready for a true return of stage destruction by Endrah!
