As a way of reflecting hope and the need to solve environmental and social challenges, the Chilean band Helegardh have just released ‘The World’, a new single that comes with a video clip that reflects on the impact of human actions from the industrial revolution to the present, denouncing the crimes committed against the planet.

Humanity, in its search for progress, has left a deep mark, altering natural balances. It is incredible that in the 21st century we still have wars, uncontrolled pollution, hunger, poverty and a long list of deficiencies that make life worse every day. However, our central message is one of hope: we can still make a positive change if together we let life find us and act consciously,” says vocalist Ricardo Camacho about this second preview of Helegardh’s new full-length, a production that will be released at the end of 2024 and which still does not have a definitive title.

The band hopes that listeners will connect with this dark and symphonic style song, allowing them to explore new sounds that show Helegardh‘s versatility compared to their first single, offering a mix of power and drama in their lyrics. ‘The World’ is a red alert message about the barbarity committed by a few.
