Contact between Hammerheart Records and Paris-based progressive Doom/Death Metal Monolithe go back to 2022 when Monolithe released “Kosmodrom” and Hammerheart Records was eager to work on Monolithe’s next album.
Then 2024 came and Hammerheart Records received the new album and was even more convinced Monolithe was something special that needed to be heard.
Monolithe has done 9 full-length albums (and several additional smaller releases) since 2001. The sheer quality in their recordings, songs and esthetics has been nothing but top notch and different/special compared to others in their genre.

The new album “Black Hole District” will be released in November 2024 on CD and vinyl. During 2025 Hammerheart Records will work on Monolithe’s catalogue as well.
