International symphonic metalcore band No Kings Allowed has previously announced that their second full-length album, A New Era, will be released internationally on November 29th. Following the success of their first single and official music video, “Garden of Eden,” the band has now unveiled their second single, “Rise Up.” The official music video for “Rise Up” is now available on YouTube and streaming platforms, giving fans another taste of what’s to come on the new album.
“Rise Up” is basically the soundtrack for anyone who’s had enough of their inner demons and wants to kick fear in the teeth. It’s all about gathering your crew, dusting off the dirt, and shouting loud enough to scare your problems away. Think of it as the ultimate pep talk for those days when life feels like a boss battle you didn’t sign up for. In short: fight hard, scream louder, and remember—you’ve got this!

No Kings Allowed emerged unexpectedly onto the metalcore/deathcore scene, shrouded in mystery with their distinctive masks and relentless sound. Formed as a collaboration between Red and Green, musicians based in the Netherlands and Belgium, the band quickly evolved from a studio project into a formidable force in the metal community.
Their debut album, “Dethroned,” released shortly after their formation, showcased their prowess in blending symphonic elements with melodic death metal influences. Spearheaded by Red and Green’s collaborative songwriting, complemented by the powerful vocals of Gold, the album garnered attention online, laying a solid foundation for the band’s growing fanbase. The band later added Blue on bass, White on (clean) vocals and Orange on drums.
No Kings Allowed’s unique approach includes maintaining anonymity through their masks, drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Sleep Token and Parkway Drive for both their enigmatic stage presence and artistic freedom. Despite having yet to perform live as a complete band, their energy and commitment to stagecraft are evident in their rehearsals and online presence.
Looking ahead, No Kings Allowed is set to release their second album in November 2024, promising a heavier and more intense experience. With plans to hit the stage in 2025, they aim to deliver unforgettable performances that match their high-energy music. The first shows for 2025 have already been booked and can be found on the band’s website and their social media pages.
As they prepare to unleash their new album and embark on their live performances, No Kings Allowed is determined to make a significant impact, blending musical innovation with a dedication to connecting with their audience on and off the stage.
