Frozen Crown Interview

1. Although Frozen Crown are from a new generation of epic power metal bands, they represent a very powerful addition by raising the flag high for the fans of the genre! Have the last 7 years rich in experiences pushed the band towards a maximum energy flow? Can you even count those days that turned out to be positive for you? What is it like for you to get out of the bed every day in the morning? 🙂

2. You released brand new albums both in 2018, ’19, ’21 and 23. What were you thinking about before the release day, what did you expect from these releases – and what did you get out of them in comparison with your expectations?

3. The first thing that comes to our mind about Italy is probably Rhapsody of Fire. Have you seen one of their live shows? How perfect would you consider their music is? Does their success motivate you to reach such heights?

4. In the last few years, you have been with Scarlet Records, where you released 3 albums. But that’s all over now, and you’re already with the highly professional Napalm Records. What were you curious about, when you contacted them? I suppose you didn’t immediately take the plunge, despite their good reputation!

5. A young lady, Alessia has recently joined the team. She is a guitarist too, so you’re giving us now a triple-fold experience. When did you decide that you needed another guitarist? What were your expectations of her? How did you get in touch with her? What can we know about her background? 🙂

6. The new songs were already recorded with this amplified line-up. How different did it feel compared to the earlier times? In which extent can we witness her knowledge, apart from the fact that there are even more solo parts? Did she flood you with her ideas? 🙂 Who contributed what for this new album?

7. Who would you like to mention in relation to recording and studio work? What was it like to hear the end result? Is everything sparkling the way you like it? 🙂

8. On which basis did you arrange the opening song, closing song and the rest of the songs? How do the lyrics connect them to each other?

9. So, you’re now at your fifth album called “War Hearts” – and it’s got a fuller sound, soaring choruses, perfectly matched drums, frenetic and advanced lead guitar techniques and amazing vocals. It’s pure power – a masterpiece in my opinion! What else would you add to my words? What would you highlight about the new album?

10. In the video you just released, your charisma and beauty shine, the guitars are great and sound very well in sync. Many people are awaiting to hear all the songs of the new album. I find it likely that you will soon get even more recognition. Is it possible that the present one is the most successful cycle in Frozen Crown’s lifespan so far?

11. You will soon start the “Awaken the World Tour 2024” with Kamelot. Will we mainly hear new songs there? As a bonus, which encore songs can we ask you for? 🙂 Do you think you will see more Frozen Crown fans on the tour than before? 🙂

12. The team is made up of six people and there is a 50/50 split between men and women. Who is in charge, the men or the women? 🙂 Are the decisions always in sync, like your guitars? 🙂 By the way, what about the atmosphere inside the band at the moment?

13. Will this be Alessia’s first major tour? Despite her young age, she’s certainly bold, brave and loves the challenge! Am I right? How much are you looking forward to these days and what are you most excited about? 🙂

14. I think there will be many more Frozen Crown albums to come. How long of a lifespan do you guys envision for the band? What do you think the team needs to improve on? What are your goals and plans?
