2nd single from their new album
Memorias de un Despertar, a multinational project by Peruvian writer Marcel Verand that features the outstanding collaboration of singers and musicians from various parts of Latin America, has just released the song ‘El Juicio de Illapa’, the second single from the new album “Ira & Traición”. A new chapter in this artistic adventure that, through the union of talents with an epic story, seeks to mark a new milestone in melodic metal productions in Spanish.
This single features singers Juan Bach from Argentina and Paulo Domic from Chile, who, with their powerful voices, embody Illapa, a character from the saga who condemns Ranra Orqo to death due to his conspiracy against Illapa and his brothers. Another scene from this epic story that tells the tale of six brothers who were separated after the fall of their parents and who grew up in different conditions, facing betrayal and pain, leading them to fight each other as bitter enemies.
“Ira & Traición” will consolidate Memorias de un Despertar’s position as an important Latin American metal opera. Each of its releases corresponds to the trilogy of books written and published by Verand, which serve as a script for the plot of each album and are inspired by Incan mythology. The goal is to transport listeners to a magical and fantasy world where heroism is continually put to the test between the confrontation of good and evil.
