Last winter, Orient Fall re-surfaced after a five-year hiatus to share what they had been through during this time. Their comeback single hinted at a journey that reflects the natural progression of life paths for anyone willing to turn resistance into acceptance. Disassociate was the first step on this path, followed by confronting the greatest fear: this is The Proper Agenda. Everything is one. Recognizing the road leading to this unity is not only lengthy, but surrounded by our deepest fears. The inner voice within all of us – the inevitability manifesting through us – is both awe-inspiring and terrifying to bow before. This is the hard way. The Proper Agenda is a kind of musical representation of this struggle, as experienced by us. It may well be one of the most unsettling, relentless songs we’ve ever written. The journey will soon continue, as the upcoming EP will feature two more tracks. These will offer significantly different musical approaches, completing the thematic concept of the EP, ultimately bringing it full circle with the themes of homecoming and tranquility. The video was directed by the band’s long-time friend, Gábor Tóth (Harmed), while the mixing was once again done in-house by Bálint Erdőhegyi and Tamás Horváth. Orient Fall’s next live performance will take place on January 11, 2025, at Dürer Kert, alongside bands like Watch My Dying, PETOFI and Heedless Elegance.
