Canadian death metal trio OOBRIS IOS is proud to announce their debut single, “Dostratis Satod Duvon Xagon,” now streaming via NO CLEAN SINGING. The band’s debut album, Vospat, drops March 21 via Decomp Regalia Records.

Featuring members of Manitoba-based extreme metal acts Wilt and Dissolution, OOBRIS IOS formed in 2024, drawing on the concept of the Singularity’s destruction 14 billion years ago—a moment that birthed the universe and scattered the seeds of chaos.
Vospat channels that chaos into eight unrelenting tracks written and sung in an ancient celestial tongue, with titles like “Sagot Los Ros Obvis Vin,” “Dostratis Satod Duvon Xagon,” and “Kesais Irabad Xogolo Arait.”
NO CLEAN SINGING writes: “Prepare for a storm of dissonance and devastation, but also prepare for what seems like the disconcerting anthem of a terrible imperium and agonies on an unfathomable scale. It will likely leave your eyes wide open and wondering what the hell just happened, but chilled to the bone.”
The band comments regarding the celestial origin of the lyrics: “Translations were lost eons ago, but some believe it is the retelling of what it’s like to be dragged through a black hole across the cosmos.”
OOBRIS IOS isn’t just a sound—it’s a statement, an act of defiance against light and all it represents. The band’s lineup—Jordan Dorge on vocals, Ryan Forsyth on guitars and bass, and Jordan Sanderson on drums—operates like a well-oiled war machine, relentless in its attack. Their first single, “Dostratis Satod Duvon Xagon,” recently premiered on NO CLEAN SINGING, showcases their ability to create music that feels utterly alien yet viscerally human.
