We reveal the cover of “Compendio Esoterico Elettronico”, the debut album by ALBUS DIABOLUS, arcane and esoteric musical laboratory that the minds of Elisa Montaldo (Mater A Clivis Imperat, Il Tempio Delle Clessidre and VLY among others) and Samael von Martin (Evol, Death Dies and of course Mater A Clivis Imperat) have created to destabilize our peaceful existence.
The album will be released on April 11th only on vinyl and digital format as well as in a special limited edition that includes the album with shirts, posters and other merch.

The artwork, realized by Maira Pedroni, opens the doors to a dark and lysergic universe where experimentation and avant-garde sound reign supreme. In their creation the gothic and black aesthetic of extreme music merges with the Progressive vein of Mater A Clivis Imperat, all with a clear and decisive electronic imprint influenced by the Synth-Wave and Dark-Wave of the 80s.
Sound imaginaries created with synthesizers, drum machines and arcane atmospheres intertwine with powerful guitars played by special guest Simòn Ferètro, materializing everything in an emotional and immersive journey that recalls influences of works such as “Tenebre” by Simonetti / Pignatelli / Morante, and bands such as EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN, COIL, CURRENT 93, VISITORS.
The journey into their Art has just started!
