Today, Caligari Records announces March 7th as the international release date for Death Pulsation‘s striking debut demo, simply titled Demo, on cassette tape format.
Death Pulsation are perfectly monikered. Hailing from Sweden, this abomination took shape in 2024 to praise death, ignited by such influences as Angelcorpse, Kaamos, Vorum, Katharsis, Morbid Angel, and Necrovore. With such a noble foundation, it’s no surprise that their debut demo rips right from its opening seconds – and never fucking lets up. “Bestial” in the very classic, subgenre-less sense, Death Pulsation exhibit a red-eyed & rabid intensity that’s shocking to behold, but they back up that ultraviolence with pounding, future-primitive songwriting that’s equal parts reverentially traditional and palatably modern. Even the demo’s three song titles – “Thunderous Pulse,” “Eater of Stars,” and “Death Salvation” – succinctly sum up the experience of this 14-minute firestorm. Featuring members of Malakhim and Encryptment, Death Pulsation are bringing DEATH to life!
In the meantime, hear the brand-new track “Eater of Stars” HERE at Caligari‘s Bandcamp, where the tape can also be preordered. Cover artwork, courtesy of Cracked Skull Revelation, and tracklisting are as follows:
