VISCERAL – Portuguese Death Metal Squad Announce New Album “Eyes, Teeth and Bones” & Premiere New Track at Decibel Magazine

Portuguese death metal force Visceral is back with their second full-length album, Eyes, Teeth and Bones, set to be released on April 4th via Raging Planet Records.

Today, the band premieres a lyric video for the album’s first advance track, “Where the Wretches Are,” at Decibel MagazineCheck it out here.

“With Eyes, Teeth and Bones, we wanted to push everything further—faster, heavier, and more intense. Every riff, every drum fill, and every guttural growl serves a purpose—pure aggression, no compromises. Having Dave Otero handle the mastering only elevated the sonic brutality.” Says vocalist and guitarist Bruno Correia

With one foot firmly in old-school death metal and the other reaching into its darkest and most extreme realms, Visceral was conceived by Bruno Joel Correia (In Tha Umbra) as an outlet to bring his long-brewing riffs and ideas to life.

After recruiting members of EnthronedNightbringerGrog, and GaereaVisceral unleashed their debut album The Tree of Venomous Fruit—a pulse-pounding, menacing slab of relentless death metal that earned widespread critical acclaim. No Clean Singing for instance praised the album stating “…a ruthlessly punishing and unnerving piece of music, and thoroughly exhilarating through and through.”

Now, nearly three years later, Visceral returns with their second full-length album, Eyes, Teeth and Bones, featuring a revamped lineup and delivering yet another blistering, high-speed death metal onslaught.

Produced and mixed by Bruno Joel Correia and mastered by the legendary Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Vitriol, Aborted), Eyes, Teeth and Bones guarantees a crisp yet punishing sonic experience. Pre-orders will be announced soon.
