“It’s a call to destruction—both inward and outward—that cements their place in the violent pantheon of beatdown death metal.”

Thematically, Trials of Failure revolves around self deprecation and full criticism of one’s self. Sonically, the album is a demolition demonstration of caustic riffing and relentless pummeling. Add guest vocal spots on “Internal Threat” (Stan Liszewski of Terminal Nation), “Chain Whip” (Bryson Sherick of Backbiter), and “Chemical Death” (Jackson Edwards of Zashed), and the package is complete. Subtly is anathema. Force is paramount.
