Swedish progressive one man death metal project EIGENSTATE ZERO releases its fourth full-length album, ‘SHAPE OF GOD THOUGHT OF SUN.’ The album continues to embrace EIGENSTATE ZERO’S vision of the dynamic extremes in progressive music through deformation of myriad ideas that stretch the genre’s already considerable boundaries.
EIGENSTATE ZERO, born in 2018, is the brainchild of Swedish musician Christian Ludvigsson. Christian’s desire to merge everything from FRANK ZAPPA and DARK TRANQUILLITY to DEATH and jazz culminated in the project’s creation. His approach to the project’s songwriting is the idea of pouring unlimited eclecticism into the construction, anything that excites his senses going into the music.
‘SHAPE OF GOD THOUGHT OF SUN,’ towers atop a foundation of death metal and forward thinking extremity. The album retains EIGENSTATE ZERO’S complicated rhythms, brutal riffs, and vicious vocals.
