BLOOD ABSCISSION dropped its debut onslaught, aptly titled “I“, onto the world in 2023 – leaving the scene astonished by their searingly powerful and sweepingly addictive hymns of resilience.
Two years later, the enigmatic entity announces the coming of a second work of Art. “I I” fortifies the veiled project as a major new player in the increasingly overcrowded field of contemporary Black Metal: balancing out eruptions of chaotic rage with mystical transcendent calm, increasing push/pull dynamics to elevate the physical and emotional weight of each piece, and delivering upgraded songcraft to pack an ever more affecting punch.

“I I” is set for release via Debemur Morti Productions on April 11th on CD and vinyl, including an exclusive DMP vinyl edition, and will be accompanied by band merchandise.
In response to growing demand for physical editions of the band’s debut, ‘I‘ will be issued simultaneously and available in the same formats. Vinyl and CD bundle options for both albums are also available.
