Death/black metal band OBSCUREVIOLENCE unveil new track via No Clean Singing

Obscureviolence have forged a terrifying, dark and thick sound by taking the best elements of death and black metal. It’s not all brute force either as the songwriting is surprisingly well thought out and flows smoothly too. It’s a release meant for repeat listens. No Clean Singing premiered their title track which can be found AT THIS LINK. Excerpt –

“a swiftly changing kaleidoscope of unhinged yet still groovesome savagery that by turns is berserk and brazen, demented and dismal, feral and exultant, thuggish and freakish”

Featuring members of the death metal band Horror GodObscureviolence are a new entity channelling the darkest and vilest sounds of black and death metal. They’ve brought elements of the two styles together, the raw, acerbic edge of black metal and the fearsome heft of death metal. They go hand-in-hand with their distinct features enhancing the overall sound, which comes off as surprisingly cohesive and powerful. As intimidating and loathsome their music is, which becomes a force of nature when they go on a rampage, they do know the importance of pacing and make sure to let the darker parts come to the fore and add a mysterious, ominous aura to the proceedings and also let the subtle dissonance seep deeper into the subconscious. For a debut, their songs are remarkably well-constructed and balanced, without letting go of their capacity for wanton mayhem, while heralding the coming of a new kind of power.
