Vocalist Lina had this to say about the new full-length: “Healismus Aeternus marks our bold return, pushing deeper into the chaotic depths of the human psyche. This album is an audacious exploration of relentless heaviness and melodic intricacy, where every note and passage are carefully woven into a journey through the labyrinth of spiritual delusion.”
Five years after their uncompromising debut album The Signs of Spiritual Delusion, Cross Bringer, a four-piece band formed in 2019 by members of Predatory Void, Reka, Hoari, and other influential acts, returns with their second album, Healismus Aeternus.
Still separated by long distances and limited by the inability to travel and play live, the band underwent a major change ahead of recording their material: exceptionally skilled drummer Michael Kadnar (Downfall of Gaia, Silent Pendulum Records) infused the band with fresh new blood.
Written, recorded, and produced between Russia, Cyprus, America, and Belgium, Healismus Aeternus delves deeper into the intricate phenomenon of Prelest—spiritual delusion. However, more melodically enriched than its predecessor, there’s no deflection in the heaviness of this body of work. Tension and aggression run high. Pre-orders are now available here (EU) or here (US).
