The solo Post Black Metal act Oak of Weeping‘s debut song was released on 17 February, 2025.
The Szeged, Hungary based musician collaborated on a split EP with two US-based musicians titled A Triptych of Psalms. The EP is also the debut of Alaretin from Pennsylvania with a Technical Black Metal song that also shows Thrash influences, while the other collaborator, Rejoice In Our Suffering from West Virginia has been releasing a steady stream of Black Metal, Industrial and Dark Ambient albums for a while now – his song on the EP is a mix of these styles.
The album explores the darker side of the Bible with each musician covering a psalm. The EP is available for free now on bandcamp and will soon be released to all other platforms.

Tracklist:
- Alaretin – Psalm 66: How Awesome Is He
- Rejoice In Our Suffering – Psalm 77: The Depths Were Also Troubled
- Oak of Weeping – Psalm 88: A Reflective Poem, Set To Chant Mournfully
The first solo EP by Oak of Weeping is expected to release later this year.
