Killtown Bookings in collaboration with Pumpehuset is proud to announce the final line-up for KTDF X!
Daniel Abecassis from Killtown Bookings says: “It’s wild to think of that it’s 15 years since we set out to start a festival promoting solely underground death metal. Now we are here and the festival is a cult death metal institution where people come from all over the world to celebrate a weekend of UG death metal”.
Daniel continues: “Despite the festival being around since 2010, this year will only be the 10th edition. That’s due to us having a hiatus for a couple of years after the 5th edition and of course Corona”.
On the line-up he says: “We have been working hard on curating a great line-up for this year’s anniversary edition and we are very happy about the final result! We have no less than 18 bands that have never played in Europe before and 2 acts that will do their debut concerts at the festival! We like to present bands and musical experiences that you don’t find anywhere else and this year we have really come up with a great program for all the death metal nerds and aficionados out there”.
Daniel continues: “the event will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark at the legendary Pumpehuset, that housed all the golden era death metal shows in the 90ies – one of the reasons we picked this amazing venue. There will be 37 international bands on the line-up spread out over 4 days. The Sunday is called “Gloomy Sunday” and it’s the day where we present bands that play slower and heavier such as doom/death, funeral doom or even more experimental performances”.
On the presale he comments: “we have sold 70% of the tickets already, so there’s only 250 tickets left and we expect the event to sell out. At the moment you can only purchase 4-day partout tickets, but in May we will release the day splits and then the one day tickets will go on sale in case we haven’t sold out before”.
Daniel sums up: “we hope you will come to Copenhagen in the first weekend of September to celebrate underground death metal with us, the bands and all the best crowd from around the world!”.
