Spain’s epic/melancholic black metal duo MONHELL has revealed a new lyric video, this time for the song “Shadows Of The Abbey”. The track is taken from the highly-awaited album “A Last Sigh of Pain,” set to be released on April 25th via Fetzner Death Records.

In “Shadows Of The Abbey,” the band unleashes his fury against the Christian religion, kept alive over the centuries thanks to bloody repressions and the spread of fear as a tool to control the faithful.

The project MONHELL consists of himself (all music and lyrics) and Penumbra (vocals), both of whom are also members of Kult et Morte and Berserk and have been active in the black metal scene since 1998. Monhell is at the heart of the album’s creation, composing all the music and lyrics, recording all instruments, and providing clean vocals. Penumbra complements the sound with his raw, intense vocal delivery, adding depth and fury to the slow, melodic Black Metal soundscape the album promises.
