Pressure Points‘ debut album, Remorses to Remember, quickly established the band as a notable force in the field of melodic and progressive metal. Released in 2010 to critical acclaim, the album gathered widespread attention, earning a spot on the Finnish album charts at #44 and making appearances on Finnish national radio. Pressure Points was ranked second as a newcomer of the year category in the Finnish Metal Awards in 2011.
With its dynamic compositions and varying soundscapes, the album remains a defining creation in the band’s journey.
The album originally released by legendary Finnish Firebox Records is now re-released by another Finnish label Inverse Records. The release includes two bonus tracks: Shapeless (Herranen remix) and Pain Dimension.

Pressure Points, currently signed with a Spanish label Art Gates Records, was founded in Heinola in the summer of 2004. Their music has been described as exceptional in the field of melodic and progressive metal. It blends various styles including strong melodies and innovative structures.
In succession to their debut release in 2011, the band has released two albums, False Lights (2015) and The Island (2023). In late 2024, they released two new singles, The Chase and Shapeless. In 2025, the band focuses on writing their fourth album while continuing to perform live. Pressure Points has shared the stage with international acts such as Katatonia, Nile, Omnium Gatherum, Insomnium, and Fleshgod Apocalypse.
