Former Chronosfear singer Filippo Tezza (see also Silence Oath, Empathica, and others) is back with his fourth album, entitled “Echoes From The Winter Silence“. After the excellent feedback with the previous “Key To Your Kingdom” the Venetian multi-instrumentalist gives us a new album of pure power metal that looks to the greats of the genre (Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray, Helloween, Stratovarius, Dragonforce) and adds his usual unmistakable style, which this time is enriched with an even faster and heavier touch. The album will be released both in physical and digital format on September 19, 2025 for Elevate Records and in collaboration with Broken Bones Promotion & Productions. Stay tuned for more news. "It's an album that continues on my classic power metal style, with the now usual numerous melodies and harmonizations of guitars and voices, but with a further attention to the arrangements that are slightly more elaborate than the previous one. It's a generally darker and more melancholic album from a sonically and lyrically point of view, compared to the previous one, with a slightly more aggressive sound. The lyrics touch on various human and reflective themes, in particular war, the horrors and desperation that it brings with it (in the songs "Darkness", "Sacred Fire", "Winter of Souls"), the pain given by the distance from one's loved ones, the disillusionment towards the future of our world ("For a New Hope"), the search for answers within oneself ("This Journey Begins"), the meaning of existence, etc... "
