Five Nights of Extreme Music Culminate in a Technological First for European Black Metal
The final night of Prague Death Mass V, one of Europe’s most iconic underground black metal festivals, will feature a world-first immersive ritual inside the refurbished Prague Planetarium, leveraging the venue’s next-generation 8K LED dome for a sonic and visual experience unlike anything previously seen on the continent.
Taking place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, the Planetarium Death Mass will be headlined by MYSTICUM, pioneers of industrial black metal, and VEMOD, known for their atmospheric, transcendent sound. Together, these two Norwegian acts will deliver exclusive, site-specific performances tailored to the unique technological environment of the dome.

Prague Planetarium – Prague 7
Limited to 280 tickets (including main festival pass)
This standalone exclusive post-festival event will harness the power of the planetarium’s ultra-high-resolution LED dome to create an all-encompassing 360° live experience. It is the first time black metal has been integrated with such high-end audiovisual presentation in Europe.
- MYSTICUM will deliver an intense, cosmic-industrial ritual, fusing machine-driven rhythms with pulsating dome visuals.
- VEMOD, who also perform during the main festival, will present a special set, transforming the Planetarium into a chamber of meditative darkness and light.
This closing rite is designed as a final transcendence, a farewell that elevates black metal beyond its traditional stage into a technological and ceremonial performance space.
