Symphonic Black/Death Metal Duo Pays Tribute to a Foundational Influence with a Ferocious New Cover
As Nekromatics prepare for the release of their debut album Place of Indulgence through Prophetical Productions, the band takes a moment to descend into the shadows of the past to honour one of their most defining influences: Mötley Crüe.
As a dark offering to their followers, Nekromatics now unveil their version of “Looks That Kill“, a fierce and unapologetic tribute to the legendary glam-metal band whose rebellious energy helped shape the spirit of extreme music.
This track is not part of the upcoming album. Instead, it stands as a sinister reinterpretation, transforming the sleaze and swagger of the original into an unforgiving assault of symphonic black/death metal. With razor-sharp guitars, orchestral darkness, and abyssal vocals, Nekromatics breathe new life into the classic, shrouded in ritualistic violence and occult mysticism.
This new release follows the band’s earlier reinterpretation of “The Beast” by Twisted Sister, a raw and unrelenting homage that marked their first tribute to the metal icons who shaped them.

About Nekromatics
Formed in early 2025, Nekromatics is a symphonic black/death metal duo composed of Melek Taus (guitars) and Melkor (vocals, bass, orchestration, and production). Rooted in themes of death, resurrection, and forbidden rites, the band channels the esoteric fury of black metal with the grandiose brutality of death metal.
Their debut album Place of Indulgence promises a monumental sonic ritual.
While we await its arrival… those with the looks that kill rise again.
