Greek melodic death metal veterans CAELESTIA are honored to release “Isolated,” a one-off tribute single in the form of a celebration honoring the underrated but influential German death metal legends Morgoth. Released on June 27, 2025, “Isolated” has CAELESTIA‘s signature blend of technical skill, atmospheric black metal hints, and melodic death riffage provide fans with a new reinterpretation of the iconic song first released by Morgoth in the 1990s.
CAELESTIA has forged a vibrant image within the extreme metal community, releasing two well-received studio albums and an EP. Getting settled now in anticipation of their long-sought third full-length, the band has pushed their sound even further, attaining a hybrid style with multi-faceted pieces and ambient sweep.
The striking cover design for “Isolated” was created by visionary photographer/artist Elena Vasilaki, adding a visual dimension that complements the song’s intensity and spirit.
Emphasizing the historical and personal link, the lineup of CAELESTIA includes drummer Marc Reign, former lead member of Morgoth. His participation gives credibility to the tribute, linking the aggression of Morgoth’s earlier output to CAELESTIA‘s modern reinterpretation.
