Hi Richie, it’s a great day to talk about your band. Have you got to address a lot of interview questions these days? Are you in a good training for some more? Tell us how do you feel about these interviews, supposing you are far from getting bored nowadays… So how are you doing man? Richie, you have been playing since 2004, 20 years ago, which is a solid proof of your endurance. Have you planned to become a musician? Would you be similarly persistent if you chose something different in your life? I suppose, sometimes you do something in your spare time other than playing music. Tell us a couple of those”secrets” you are doing to distract yourself from getting mad about metal music. Generally, everybody knows that you’re a stepson of Max Cavalera. How much motivation does it gives to you? Do you feel lucky for such turn of events? What advices have you got from him? Plenty of albums by Incite were released throughout the years. Luckily, there’s no rafical change in the style, though the improvement shines through then. Which of your record do you consider the true breakthrough? Is there any of your album, which you consider more underrated than you expected? Which record brought you the highest number of fans? Which one is the most cultivated? How could you describe your music for someone getting to know your band? Groove Thras Metal mixed with exciting new musical themes ? So it’s 2025 and the upcomming Incite album “Savage New Times” is going to be released in august, with Reigning Phoenix Music behind your back. Three singles are available on streaming services, providing a great apetizer for the whole record. Please tell us something about this masterpiece in progress! By the way, are you more excited before releasing a new single or before an album ? Did you get good ratings and praises for your latest songs? It was your fourth time with Steve Evetts mastering your records. Are you getting on well with him? Do you enjoy your cooperation? Maybe it’s that Steved is so skillful and reliable that you would not take the risk of switching to a new producer? I noticed that the band has changed its profile, as you got a fancy new logo and cover. Was it for any purpose? How could you comment on that? You are about to begin your ruthless tour with bands such as Hatebreed, Fugitive, and Malevolence at home. Will you play the new songs there? How do you imagine those live shows you are going to give? Can we expect you to come to Europe? How many concerts are you planning to give in the next one and half year? Do you remember your last concert in Budapest in 2023? We are definitely craving for a new one, because we love you so much! Until then, what can you say to our fans impatiently awaiting you? Thanks for answering, it was a great talk. Fingers crossed for you ! |

About INCITE
Founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2004 by frontman Richie Cavalera, INCITE blend groove and thrash metal with a raw, relentless edge. With Lennon Lopez on drums and EL on bass, the band have honed its unyielding sound across multiple albums, evolving with each release. Their punishing intensity is amplified by producer Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, HATEBREED) and mixer Arthur Rizk (SOULFLY, MUNICIPAL WASTE), while striking artwork by Marcelo Vasco (SLAYER, KERRY KING) captures their ferocity. Known for their relentless touring, INCITE have conquered stages worldwide, sharing bills with DEVILDRIVER and SIX FEET UNDER, and proving their grit – like driving 500 miles through a blizzard to make a show. The addition of guitarist Layne Richardson has injected fresh energy, elevating both their live performances and songwriting. With sheer determination and raw talent, INCITE have carved out a place in modern thrash, dominating every stage with their unbreakable, unforgiving sound.
