Left Hand Path, the melodic death metal band from Cluj-Napoca, proudly presents their latest single “Charnel Grounds“, released on July 10th, 2025: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_vW2GG-ihM
This powerful new track explores the ancient Buddhist tradition of sky burial, where the deceased’s body is offered to nature’s elements on barren mountain charnel grounds. Through vivid and haunting lyrics, the song reflects on the cycle of life and death, capturing the raw essence of mortality and spiritual transcendence.
The accompanying lyric video, carefully hand-drawn and animated by AnnaVixie (Instagram: annavixie.art), is now available on the band’s YouTube channel, and the song will soon be available on all streaming services.
Audio production was handled by band members Doru Nedelcu and Tamás Wagner at Camera din Spate Recording Studio, with drums recorded at Music Hub Cluj-Napoca and vocals engineered by Sergiu Zeicu at “Evergreed HQ”. The final mixing and mastering was done by Ronnie Björnström at Björnström Sound Studio in Sweden.
