A descent into nauseating filth – Jordsjuk unleashes Parasitt!
On June 13, Jordsjuk will release Parasitt – a sonic infection and the third single from their upcoming debut album Naglet til livet. This isn’t a song. It’s a condition. A blackened metal assault that gnaws at the flesh, claws through the mind, and seeps deep beneath the skin.

Parasitt is a deep dive into existential, gut-wrenching ugliness. It’s about being trapped in filth, in thought – in everything that makes you hate existence, the band says. And it’s hard not to believe them. This isn’t music for sunny days. This is the soundtrack to sleepless nights and inner collapse.
Jordsjuk rise from Norway’s abyss with their most unforgiving track to date. A concentrated blast of raw nerve and dark matter, where black metal, death, and punk collide in a toxic brew. Forget melody. Forget harmony. This is suffocating riffs, feral vocals, and a rhythm section with no regard for your well-being.
This is one of the most uncompromising tracks on the album. This is distilled sonic disease.
Drums were recorded at PhatCat Studios, Rygge. The rest, guitars, bass, and vocals were tracked across various locations in Norway. It was then sent to Salem, Massachusetts, where Kurt Ballou (Converge) handled the mix at God City Studios. Mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege in Portland, giving Parasitt the heavy, unfiltered finish it deserves Artwork-Parasitt: Sindre Foss Skancke
Jordsjuk is Renton, Mannevond, Sagstad, and Larsen, four hardened individuals from Norway’s underground. Their music doesn’t ask for your approval; it lunges straight for the throat and refuses to let go.
Parasitt offers yet another glimpse into the most extreme corners of Naglet til livet, their debut album set for release in fall 2025. And as the band themselves put it: Necro times call for necro music.
You’ve been warned.

Line-up:
Renton – Drums
Mannevond – Vocals
Sagstad – Guitars
Larsen – Bass
