Auerbach Tonträger / Prophecy Productions sign neofolk rejuvenators VRÎMUOT – first album O Tempora, O Mores! out on September 25!

Vrîmuot (Middle High German for “candour”) from the fabled Teutoburg Forest, Germany, was founded in 2019 by composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer T.S. and infuses fresh blood into the time-honored body of neofolk. Describing his venture as “Mythopoeic Darkfolk”, T.S. wields his metaphorical heft to cathartic effect, conveying a positive message. It is only through self-reflection that we transcend mundane existence, lighting a flame that strengthens and warms us. A flame of hope. An eternal flame.

Auerbach/Prophecy are jolly over the addition of one of the most profound and artistically compelling new neofolk artists to their label roster, and so is Vrîmuot‘s T.S.: I am proud to inform you of my signing with the sincere label Auerbach Tonträger / Prophecy Productions. It is a privilege to get the opportunity to realize my project with such a passionate label which invests as much heart and soul as I do with Vrîmuot. Furthermore I am looking forward to finally releasing ‘O Tempora, O Mores!’ in September 2020.

The first single taken from the record is titled ‘Nymphaea Alba’ and out now!
T.S.: The song elaborates with exhilarating vigor on the power of longing, which eventually leads to emotional catharsis in a maelstrom of thoughts and memories. The dark and mystical sound accompanies the listener on this path to enlightenment. At once joyful and melancholic, the path disappears. The leaves clasp together. Dedication.

Vrîmuot‘s O Tempora, O Mores! (Cicero: “Oh the times! Oh the customs!”), was mastered by Markus Stock (Empyrium) and is scheduled for release on September 25 as 2CD hardcover book edition (18x18cm, 36 pages with lush artwork and a 18-minutes bonus CD with two exclusive songs) and LP.

Behold the rejuvenation and thus, future of German neofolk. Behold Vrîmuot …
