Swedish Blackened Death Metal Act AVDAGATA Unleashes Brand New Song From Upcoming Album!

“Damnatio Cursus” out on October 15th via Black Lion Records!

Best known for his bands such as AVSMAK, ALVSVART, SWORN and UNGODLY LEGION, Swedish black and death metal mastermind Sebb Drago has unleashed a brand new song taken from his upcoming solo album. The blistering debut by AVDAGATA, entitled Damnatio Cursus, will be out as CD and Digital formats on October 15, 2021 via Swedish underground powerhouse Black Lion Records!

The idea behind this solo project was to create music and lyrics that are Sebb, reflecting his soul. Look into his eyes and you will get the same feeling as when you hear and experience AVDAGATA: Melodic and raw black / death metal without any excuses! With a great help and support from Henric Liljesand (NIGHT CROWNED, CIPHER SYSTEM), Drago’s solo project AVDAGATA became reality; Freddy Ortscheid on drums made the songs even more intense. Listen to another fierce appetizer taken from Damnatio Cursus, just recently AVDAGATA premiered the album opening track:

Says Drago about the song: “Avdagata, this song is my valve for all wasted years filled with frustration and anger. To take back what is mine. And crush the mental and cosmic shackles!”

Recorded at multiple studios featuring several high- class guest musicians, Damnatio Cursus was mixed and mastered by Scott Crocker. This must- have black and death metal solo record will be available on October 15th. To pre-order your copy, visit the Black Lion store at THIS LOCATION!
