Today, Invictus Productions announces September 30th as the international release date for a brand-new EP from Sacrilegia, Sold Under Sin, on CD and 12″ vinyl formats.
It’s been three long years since Sacrilegia‘s celebrated debut album, The Triclavian Advent, but the Irish black/death militia are back with a quick-hitting EP titled Sold Under Sin. Totaling 21 minutes, Sold Under Sin presents four new outbursts of black/thrash METAL delivered with the belligerent intent of the genre’s pioneers. Compared to that storming debut full-length, Sacrilegia‘s songs here are slightly lengthier and more elaborate, but also bolder than ever before: the abyss still looks the same, but its yawning expanses portend protracted doom rather than immediate inferno. Addressing the burden of those neither fit to be believers nor demigods, utterly unhinged vocals and manic, mind-melted solos embody the spiritually troubled of a time where nothing is sacred.
